Theft Refund is a claims management company specialising in helping fraud and scam victims get
their money back. We focus on low volume, high quality cases, and we only take on cases where we think there’s
a reasonable prospect of success. We help fraud victims in an ethical way.
Our experienced team is made up of people who’ve worked at the Financial Conduct Authority, the Prudential Regulation Authority, the Financial Ombudsman Service, in banking and in tech.
Our mission
Our mission is to encourage banks to treat people who’ve lost money to scams fairly and consistently. We help people get money back when their banks have treated them unfairly.
Banks have obligations to spot suspicious transactions, intervene and help vulnerable customers. Unfortunately, help for scam victims isn’t being applied consistently across the banking industry, or even within each bank.
Our fee of 15% plus VAT only becomes payable once the money you get back is in your pocket.
We don’t confuse people with legal or regulatory jargon and we explain what we do in plain English. We only have one fee, which is 15% of any money you get back. .
We’ll never ask you for payment details and we only send instructions on how to pay us once you’ve received your money back..
If you don’t receive anything, you don’t pay us a penny.
